As a part of regular fish conservation activities common carp and tench were released into Lake Kraljevac by the Park Ranger Service, along with the members of the Sport Fishing Association Deliblatsko jezero and under the supervision of the Environmental Inspector for Fishing from the Vojvodina Provincial Secretariat for Urbanism, Construction and Environmental Protection. The lake was stocked by 200 kg of two-year old common carp and 50 kg of tench to increase the population size of native fish species. Due to poor spawning, fishing of the common carp is forbidden until 2016, while the tench is a strictly protected species under the Code on Declaration and Protection of Strictly Protected Species and Protected Wild Species of Plants, Animals and Fungi Annex I (Official Gazette No. 5/10).
